Hamilton Deserves Better. Ward 2 Deserves More
Hamilton Deserves Better. Ward 2 Deserves More
Brian Lewis is a proud Hamiltonian, born and raised in Hamilton's North End, with deep roots in the community he hopes to serve. As a candidate for Ward 2 City Councillor, Brian is committed to building a safer, cleaner, and more vibrant downtown while ensuring taxpayers receive value for their money.
Brian is Métis, with roots in the Red River region of Manitoba, and was elected as a Councillor-at-Large with the Clearwater Council of the Métis Nation of Ontario.
Former Mayor Bob Morrow asked him to become a founding member of Hamilton's Mayors' Race Relations during a turbulent time in the 1980's. Brian has also volunteered with the Hamilton Police Service's Victim Services Branch for almost five years.
His public service has been guided by the belief that communities are strongest when leaders listen, remain accountable, and focus on practical solutions.
Brian believes Ward 2 deserves practical, accountable governance — safer streets, infrastructure dollars spent on infrastructure, and housing that actually gets built.
Not ideology.
Not politics as usual.
Just a councillor who listens to residents, answers to the people of Ward 2, and works every day to deliver results.
